The IPO GMP Tracker API delivers a complete chronological audit trail of Grey Market Premium (GMP) quotes, Kostak rates, and Subject to Sauda terms recorded from the moment an issue price band is announced through its official stock exchange listing day.
The Grey Market is an unofficial, over-the-counter forward market where traders speculate on IPO shares prior to exchange allotment. By monitoring day-by-day movements in GMP, analysts can assess shifting market sentiment, institutional enthusiasm, and macroeconomic liquidity trends.
For every historical snapshot, the API returns the recorded GMP in INR, the computed estimated listing price (Cap Price + GMP), and the expected listing gain percentage. This data is widely used in charts, backtesting models, and interactive timeline visualizations.
